The original hard body roll top. Made in USA of USA materials, infinitely repairable. We offer these in both waxed canvas and cotton faced X11 technical materials. X11 is a little lighter and is a laminate with a waterproof barrier, while the waxed canvas relies on good ol' wax. both are really good, just depends on your aesthetic preference really. more about our fabrics in the fabric faqé above.

rackless recommended clearance between bottom of bars (or saddle loops if using rear) and top of tires 10.5"

shovel research rod steward for front or rear use
nitto M1 from riv for front or rear use
velo orange constructeur rear rack for rear
must use non included dowel or found stick and voile nano straps for proper rear use with brooks style saddle loops.
works front or rear -- would recommend watching the users manual to answer most mount and use questions.

I bought this because it seemed like a good front bag that would adequately fit my laptop, clothing and lunch for my commute to the office. It's great. I use it for small grocery store trips and family picnics also.

After running a carradice barley saddlebag for almost 15 years I really was needing a bit of more space for longer rides. I coveted the Burgandy for so long, but once Ronny let me know there was going to be a Burgundy Large Fab's chest I knew it was going to be my dream bag.
Lo and behold, dream she is. Connected it up to my old quick release and a cross body strap and this is truly the perfect bicycle bag that I also am fine being seen in public with. Keeps my things dry on wet days, carries a camera in the side pocket, and everything from the multiple magnetic snaps to the movable clips are so well considered. I look forward to a new 15 years of this bag.

This is a phenomenal bag. I ended up pairing it with a rockgeist bar jam mount thingy with a longer pole to free up hand space on my ALT bar, and the Shovel Rod Steward to really make this chest pop. It’s sturdier than Ron’s outhouse. I love that it works so well in basket mode, and that I can use the cover flap extender to secure whatever quality sidewalk scores I find on the ride home. Thanks for making nice stuff!

As they say, the CHEST is the BEST. Seriously though, quite good. The main reason I went with the small/large combo front and rear is because I can own ONE pair of bags that allows me to do an overnight on all FOUR of my bicycles. Had a few different setups for each bike and this helped me simplify the amount of **** I own. :) Plus the techy x__ fabric makes these quite lightweight for the amount of volume they offer.
I am very pleased with my new bag. It’s the right color, which is personal to me, but for others just know the bag is great! The fabric is durable and the craftsmanship is superb. One big note is the functionality of the bag. Very well thought out in every way, from the buckles and their location, the dual use as a “bucket” or waterproof compartment, to the magnetic latches. I highly recommend this!
Ronnie Fabio Chest bags size Large and small for me are the ultimate bike adventure bags for me. I just love the ease of the design and set up. Allot of room available to put all my bike junk in the bags. The construction feels very sturdy and very well made. I can't wsit to purchase more Fabios Chest bags for the rest of my rides. I’ve been using the small size, and this time I got the large one. It seems perfect for bike camping and moving between fishing spots, and I really like it. Thank you for making such an amazing bike bag.

Hands down the best bags around! Truly quality made and worth every penny! I have had enough with cheap bags that tear out from a little bit of rough riding.
