Rons Bikes Events + Gatherings
Hi! we generally do two three events per year, a small one in the spring (about 100 folks), and a big one in the fall (about 500 folks), and a very challenging endurance mountain bike race in the fall (about 100 folks).

The Nutmeg Country Spring Fling : 50 mile mixed surface day ride leaving from Gillettes castle in Hadlyme CT. the date will be a Saturday in May -- I usually choose and open reg 3 weeks beforehand. Entry fee is a donation to the East Haddam Land Trust.

The Nutmeg Nor'Easter : the big one! Usually the last full weekend in October. This event is a number of ride options and camp outs in Killingworth CT. Registration will open in August for this event.

The Nutmeg 40 (formerly known as Goodwin Challenge) : In the spirit of the Vermont 50, this additional Fall 40 mile technical mountain bike ride in the river valley hills of East Haddam and Lyme CT. About 10 miles are paved, the rest is classssic NE single track and tech rubble roads. Entry fee is a donation to the East Haddam Land Trust.
