NEW fabio's clap trap
::: shipping next week :::
its's a trapezoid bag, and it kinda claps opens like a trap too, so Tenzin has been calling it Fabio's clap trap, and so here it is... we are selling you a clap trap.
but this is a fancy clap trap. this 3.7L hard bodied top opening reverse randoesqué bag sack is pure luxury on the handlebars. opens truly one handed whilst riding, allowing the user to snack and grab contents (camera, light jacket) with ease. the front of the bag is taller than the rear making a nice trap for your things not to jumble out. a snack back stop. I have been using a prototype of this bag for over a year now, and I think it's our best ever --- combining the powers of the fabs abs and fabs fanny. should not this replaces both in our line up moving forward.
the adjustable elastic drawcord allows to either affix over the stem like a rando bag, or it can neatly tuck into the loop in the back like in the product photos.
the side pockets also have an adjustable elastic drawcord that lets you expand or cinch down depending on what you put in there. I often have my phone on one side, and Ricoh GR camera on the other.
bag is water resistant. the trap claps back into itself making for a tidy weather blocker when closed. the side pockets are not covered on top, so those are not for a rainy day.
this round is offered in 3 fabrics --- but confusingly enough, the tans are 2 different types of Connecticut made xpac sailing fabrics. both are stronger than they need to be, and water resistant --- the X50 has a polyester face, and the X11 is cotton faced. if you are trying to decide betwixt the two, flip a coin.
the black tulips all over print is xpac RVX30. lighter fabric than the tans, but plenty strong.
see dimensions in product photos.
